The current face of Israel’s Castro clothing line, Gal Gadot, was originally in the hunt to be the next Bond Girl, before that title went to Olga Kurylenko. And when Vin Diesel (who’s also a producer on the flick) heard she “just missed out” on Quantum of Solace, he quickly got in touch. Joining the cast of the Vin Diesel/Paul Walker reunion flick is newcomer Gal Gadot, a former Miss Israeli.
I’d point out the big drop in going from Bond Girl to sharing the screen with Vin and Paul Walker, but I’m assuming that much is fairly obvious. Really though, this is a smart move by Diesel as a producer.
